HUSK SEPARATION

Husk Separation

Our state-of-the-art mill pulls off and separates the husk (skin) from the kernel of barley.

This allows us to perform a process called endosperm mashing where only the sweet kernel is used in the brewing process, increasing efficiency, minimizing grain bitterness, and enhancing a pure malt flavor.

Prost is one of the few breweries in the world with this technology.
